Alter'D Salon was founded in 2021 by Jennifer DeLaney with a clear vision: to create the kind of salon she believed the beauty industry was missing. A space where talented professionals could build careers they were proud of, creativity was encouraged, education never stopped, and clients felt genuinely cared for the moment they walked through the door.
What began as a vision for something better has continued to evolve alongside the people who make Alter'D what it is.
Today, Alter'D calls North Augusta home. This new chapter brings the salon back to what mattered from the very beginning: a thoughtfully curated, boutique environment where artists can do their best work & clients can trust that every detail of their experience has been considered.
Because when the people behind the chair aare given space to thrive, the people in it feel the difference.

As a stylist and salon owner, Jennifer has always believed that great work comes from never becoming complacent. That philosophy continues to shape Alter'D today, from the artists invited into the collective to the culture of education, integrity, and support that exists within it.
